So, here we are again – the start of this year’s 28-day challenge – our annual opportunity to review our lives and to focus on making any f
orm of change that will really make a difference!
Significant change for the better doesn’t come along as one single, breakthrough, moment. It arrives as the result of an accumulation of small, consistent, conscious actions – hence the 28 days in order to embed new habits as part of our daily lives.
You don’t have to do all the following to perfection as you focus on the change you wish to make in your life – just make a start.
- Begin your day with clarity, not chaos
- Read something every day – not to escape, but to evolve
- Prioritise your health because it’s the foundation of everything
- Practise saying “no” without guilt creeping in
- Focus on consistency, not motivation
- Choose curiosity over certainty
- Surround yourself with honest people
- Reflect regularly on your actions and mindset
- Focus on contribution, not on comparison
To anchor your mornings with intention, to say “no” when necessary, to remain curiously open-minded and to stay truly connected to your “deeper” why – all of these will support you as you focus on achieving your overall goal.
In time, these daily choices will eventually reshape your lives in quietly powerful ways. You won’t notice it overnight, but one morning you’ll wake up and suddenly realise that you’ve actually become more of the kind of person you used to look up to!
