Create Your Own Destiny!
The summer holiday season is when we can look forward to taking that much-needed annual break. It is also the ideal time to carry out our annual LIFE AUDIT. So, forget about the new year as the time to make any resolutions: the practice of using the POWER of your MIND to manifest your dreams comes into its own, not when agitated or pressurised, but when you’re at your most relaxed.
So, why not give it a go right NOW, as you swing in that hammock of yours? There’s no TIME like the PRESENT.
- Sit somewhere that’s comfortable, where it’s quiet and you won’t be disturbed.
- Close your eyes and concentrate on your third eye, between your eyebrows in the middle of your forehead, where it expands your intuition and awareness.
- Relax your body by resting your hands on your legs.
- Take a couple of deep breaths to calm your mind and connect with the cosmic force of the universe. Block your right nostril with your right thumb and inhale slowly and deeply through your left nostril. After a count of three, release your right nostril and block your left nostril with your index or little finger. Exhale slowly and deeply through your right nostril.
- Stretch your arms up and shake every part of your body for a few seconds so that universal energy can circulate through you.
- Be aware of your thoughts. Replace any negative ones with happy ones instead. Every time a critical thought pops up in your mind, immediately replace it with a compliment to yourself.
- Imagine your heart’s desire, whether it’s something to do with love, work, health or wealth.
- Visualise yourself as already having received or achieved it. For example, if you want a new house, imagine yourself unlocking the door to your ideal property. Acknowledge how it feels in your body. Do you feel warmth anywhere? Focus on that feeling for a few minutes. Feel it in every fibre of your being.
- Open your eyes and trust that the universe is already sending you exactly what you need when the time is right.
